The Flatwoods-Canoe Run Public Service District is accepting resumes for one (1) full-time, non-exempt, Water Field Worker/Operator-In-Training (O.I.T) position.

Essential Job Functions: Day to day operation and maintenance of the water distribution system and associated appurtenances, general grounds keeping of the water treatment plant and field installations, general maintenance of all equipment and vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, valid West Virginia Driver’s License; a valid West Virginia Class “A” CDL is preferred and passing a pre-employment background check

Preferred Qualifications: Completing high school or college courses in the following: Keyboarding, Practical Computer Applications, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Chemistry.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess an Associate’s degree in the following: Environmental Technology, Natural Resource Management or similar degree.

Candidates that do not meet the minimum qualifications or fail to submit the required transcripts will not be considered.
